Can I switch from individual entry to a relay team?

At this late time, you cannot switch.

Can I switch out a member of my relay team?

Please contact Susan to make the switch, depending on the date of your request, she may or may not be able to make the switch for you.

Can I get a refund, rollover to 2011 or transfer my registration to a friend?

Unfortunately you agreed to the no refunds, rollovers or transfers policy at registration.

Can I defer my registration to next year (2011)?

Unfortunately the deadline to defer (August 12) has already passed.

I didn’t get an email with my bib number and swim wave info.

No worries, you can find your bib number and swim wave by entering your last name on this page of our website. Please let us know if you can’t find it.

How do I find out info on Race Weekend (parking, shuttle, bike racking, swim practice, the expo, etc)?

Watch the course briefings on your Athlete Services Page – they have all of the information you need.

Where can I find all of the swim waves so I can see when my friends are starting?

There is a link to see all of the waves on the right column of your Athlete Services Page, or you can click here.

I went to the ZumTri Race Preview Page and entered my bib number, but someone else’s name came up – what’s up with that?

The ZumTri Race Preview uses data from the 2009 Nation’s Triathlon to show you a preview of the course. If you raced in 2009, you can enter your last name to see how you did amongst your competitors. If not, you can enter a random name, number, let ZumTri pick for you or you can create a goal racer and enter what you expect your times to be and see how you will stack up against last year’s competition.

My training partner and I are in different swim waves, can I switch waves so we’re together?

No, you cannot switch waves.

I’m in the wrong age group, I don’t turn [age] until after the race.

You have been placed in an age group based on your Race Age, the age you will be as of December 31, 2010.

What’s the water temperature going to be? Can I wear a wetsuit?

As of 8/31/2010 the water temperature in the Potomac is 85 degrees. If the water temperature is above 78 degrees on race day, then age group competitors that want to participate in age group results cannot wear a wetsuit, per USAT rules. We will provide another temperature check on 9/7/2010 at noon.

Is there a Clydesdale or Athena Division?

No, there isn’t a Clydesdale or Athena Division.
