Team In Training & My First Triathlon

I had no idea what I was doing; I did the swim in my old college speedo even though the lake was 58 degrees, and my legs cramped up on the run because I went out way too hard on the bike. Yet I knew that I picked up a sport I wanted to excel at, I just needed a little help to get there. Not even a week after the race I signed up with The National Capital Area's Team in Training (TNT) Program to do The Nation’s Triathlon. I knew that TNT could help me with what I sorely lacked when it came to preparing for a race: knowledge and a support system. |
